Installshield v16 is installshield 2010. the vb6 virtual machine has been included in windows for 10+ years now. if you are looking at a recent service pack of xp, vista, 7, 8, server 2008/r2 et al you are fine.. There is not a redistributable in installscript msi project for visual basic 6 runtime files? we looked on the installshield download web site and it is not there, nor in the installscript msi project. there is a vbscript runtime file but this is not the same a visual basic 6 runtime files. thanks and regards, nelson jarvis.
